The Moreton Bay Colleges’ Foundation contributes resources to support outstanding talent and develop world-class educational infrastructure. We actively engage the broader community and role model the Colleges’ Values of Engagement, Character, Care, and Teamwork. Our core priorities are to:

Our Foundation Board is made up of dynamic team of professionals offering a range of expertise. The Board members volunteer their time and are committed to ensuring the Foundation invests in the Colleges for today and tomorrow.

We work together with the enthusiastic and loyal community of each college. This includes the MBC Old Girls’ Association, the developing Old Boys' Alumni and Parents & Friends at both Moreton Bay College and Moreton Bay Boys' College.

Chair: Ruth Power

B Mus, A Mus, Grad Dip of Event Mgmt. Ruth has extensive experience across the non-for-profit sector in social impact, strategic partnership development, events management, and marketing. She is Partnership Development Manager at The Smith Family and is passionate about supporting children through their educational journey. Ruth is a parent of MBC.

Director: Neil Jones

Neil has almost 30 years’ experience across global markets and industries; building and leading high performing teams. Neil’s passions outside of work lie within sport. Having played A Grade hockey for almost 20 years, the last 12 years have seen him involved in Triathlon. Neil has a Daughter at MBC.

Dip Business, Dip Mechanics. Daniel has experience running several small to medium businesses and is interested in developing the Foundation’s investment strategy. Daniel is a volunteer Rugby League Coach and Manager, President of the Beenleigh Lions Club and an MBBC Old Boy.

He is an advocate for the freedoms and self-esteem that flourish in quality educational institutions. Dio is an active member of the community and has a son and daughter at the Colleges.
