The Foundation supports a range of fundraising activities organised by the College P&F groups and on behalf of the Colleges' community.
At The Moreton Bay Colleges’ we are thrilled to welcome our multigenerational families back to our Bay community.
Each year we come together to engage with all the students who have a mother and/or grandmother that attended Moreton Bay College as a student. In 2021, we have over 115 students who attend Moreton Bay College and Moreton Bay Boys' College where their mother/grandmother was a past student of Moreton Bay College. This annual afternoon tea is an opportunity for the students, our Old Girls and past staff to come together to connect and reminisce. The Foundation are proud to drive this initiative.
The 2018 Foundation Luncheon was a celebration of sport in the middle of the Anna Meares Velodrome, it was a truly unforgettable experience. The event was hosted by the highly entertaining Robert “Crash” Craddock, sports reporter with the Courier-Mail. Crash was joined by a panel of special guest speakers featuring Caitlin Bassett, Captain of the Diamonds, Australian Women’s Netball team; Brenden Hall, Commonwealth Games 2018 Gold Medallist and Paralympian Swimmer; and Kerrie Meares, Commonwealth Games 2002 Gold Medallist and 2006 Bronze Medallist. We thank all our guests and donors for supporting this event.
